You have the beautiful coastal village of Sitges within a 30 min drive, and the magnificent interior of the Barcelona Province with its extensive vineyards at your doorstep.
You will have absolute peace here and no noise in this home from home for big families, this is your holiday home if you yearn for privacy. On a small hill, surrounded by vineyards; no other place has such unspoilt views to offer you. And yet, you are so close to the big city whenever you feel like it.
Subirats belongs to the Penedès region of Catalonia, which is well known both for their wines and cava. No need to be an oenologist to go on a winery tour, we can in fact help you plan one in the region so that you can forget about all the fuss of contacting different wineries, thanks to our close partnership with some excellent ones.
This traditional Catalan style masia comprises of:

Some attractions that we recommend you during your holidays are:
- Visiting the mountain monastery of Montserrat, which has a vast basilica, an iconic virgin sculpture & a museum with world renowned art.
Montserrat was declared a natural park in 1987 to protect the massif, the geological characteristics of which make it unique in the world. In fact, the popular imagination has seen human or animal shapes in some of the mountain peaks, giving them names and inventing legends to explain their fantastic origins.
This is the Museum of Wine Culture in Catalonia, and is in Vilafranca del Penedès, right in the center of the town, which is just 20min drive from your villa. The museum exhibits works of art and archaeological, geological, paleontological items. As well as an exhibition on the history and the processes that transform grapes into other products, like wine. At this museum it is also possible to purchase products, taste wines and, subject to reservation, attend a wine tasting course.

Do not miss also the chance to attend the MOST Festival in November, an International Film Festival of audiovisual productions related to the vine culture, cava & wine. With unreleased films from great directors and a good selection of short films.
The area has several medieval castles, and although not all of them can be entered by foot, they are worth watching from outside and you’ll find it quite an experience. This is the case of the Castell de Penyafort, located in the town of Santa Margarida i Els Monjos, about an hour from Barcelona. This medieval castle is at the entrance to the Parc del Foix, a fabulous natural reservation.
The Mediona castle in the village Mediona, is a ruined castle, but that one can be visited. The Castle of Gelida, in the village of Gelida, has also permitted access to the inside and there’s the castle of Castelldefels, just a few minutes from Barcelona.
Just 30min drive and you'll be in Sitges coastal town. You can stroll down the streets to discover the village's Modernist and Noucentista heritage events. Or if you prefer, try Sitges' nightlife which is internationally known and recognized thanks to "Sin Street". In fact, the world's very first Pacha was born here.
With 26 beaches and 300 sunny days a year, there's no need telling you what other things you might be able to do in Sitges.
From the acclaimed International Film Festival in October to the Carnival in winter, wh ere fun is guaranteed, the cultural attractions are many.
